Plus size clothing is becoming big business (terrible pun intended). Which is good! For too many years there were too few choices for ladies of a certain size who wanted to look stylish and sexy. One of the companies leading the market in providing quality apparel is Plus Size Plum. Deborah, owner of the business, is a champion for larger women who want to look chic. Her many years modeling and working in high-end retail give her a keen eye for quality fashion.

Some of the items I noticed on her site, these chemises, look like they can easily do double-duty. Pair this one with a cardigan and you have a perfect outfit for an informal party. (Would you describe the gorgeous black gown pictured here as cool and classy or just plain hot?)

AROMATHERAPY GOES TO THE DOGS! Though I don't consider myself an over-the-top doggie owner - no nail polish, faux fur clothing or crystal jewelry in Frankie's (my canine) wardrobe - I recently found a product that makes our lives together much more enjoyable. Aromatherapy for dogs may sound a little 'Californian' but that's where we live. This line of candles from Hands N Paws may be a life saver for doggies with separation anxiety - yes, it's a real condition that plagues Frankie when I leave the house. With a pleasant scent that we humans enjoy - lavendar is my favorite - it also contains a secret ingredient that can be detected solely by our little friends. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET Nothing is exactly what you get when you purchase this non-product from British company I Want One Of Those (IWOOT). The item description on their site calls it " . . . a lovingly crafted vial of emptiness . . . " It's great for the person who has everything, doesn't want anything or just plain doesn't deserve a thing. The product struck a chord - it sold out in mid-December and IWOOT won't have new inventory until early January. Those of us with concerns about the environment may cringe - the non-product sells for $6.28 in American dollars and ships for approximately the same amount. Imagine the good those dollars could do if donated to a responsible green charity . . .
